Passed away in Tucson, Ariz. on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. He was born in Flint and resided in Maple Grove. Walt retired from Buick in 1993. He served as a Marine during the Korean War. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Eagles and the VFW in New Lothrop. Walt was one of the co-founders of the Maple Grove Fire Department. He was a volunteer fire fighter and started the Little League. Walt enjoyed playing golf, and being with friends and family. He lived by one motto and one motto alone -"have tape measure, will travel."

Age 71, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at HealthSource of Saginaw. Dorothy E. Amman was born March 4, 1937 to the late August and Dolores (Tithof) Amman. She was married to George Tkaczyk. He passed away May 18, 1978.

Age 80, passed away Saturday, April 26, 208 at Cambridge -South Nursing Center. Frances Hudecek was born on her parents' farm in Chesaning on June 27, 1927, the daughter of Thomas and Agnes (Pavlica) Hudecek. She married John Lee Hinkley on July 16, 1953. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2000. Frances was a member of CSA 411 Central Star and a Golden member of the Auxiliary Eagles in Hazel Park. She enjoyed cooking, corresponding, chatting on the telephone, gardening, reading and taking pictures. She loved the American flag.

Age 78, passed away Friday evening, April 25, 2008 at St.Mary's of Michigan, Saginaw. He was born on October.28, 1929 in Brant, the son of Norman and Edith (McFarland) Allen. He was an Army veteran of Korea. He was retired from Johnson Controls, Owosso, where he had worked for 39 years.

Age 94, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening, April 30, 2008 at St.Mary's of Michigan, Saginaw. Age 94. She was born Nov.7,1913 in Chicago. Her husband Sylvester passed away on Aug.19, 2003. She had belonged to the Daughters of Isabella and Z.C.B.J.

Age 69, passed at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2008. He worked for General Motors for 33 years. He was a former resident of Montrose and Flushing, living in Mesick, for the past nine years. He was a good man all of his life. He loved his wife and family. He will be missed by them all
