"We are finally starting to play with some confidence and belief that we can win," commented 'Dawg coach Larry Mishler, whose squad dominated the boards and limited its turnovers to a season-low 14 miscues. Taylor sank 11 of 14 free throws on the night against the host Eagles, including 6 of 7 in the final quarter, as the Rams won a tight contest to level their record at 3-3 in the GAC and 4-4 overall.

" Our defense was solid enough to hold them to just 45 points on their own floor and I thought we had pretty good discipline on offense, making the extra pass and coming up with good shot selection," commented Ram coach Rick Ustishen. "We still have some work to do, however, because we had too many unforced turnovers and made bad decisions at times. Nonetheless, our kids played hard tonight and did some good things."

Taylor grabbed six boards and distributed three assists to go with his 26 points. Cody Groulx scored 8 points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds. Adam Campbell recorded six points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal to aid the Ram cause while Jared Barber chipped in with three points, a rebound, two assists and three steals. The Indians jumped out to an 18-13 lead at the end of the first quarter and held a 37-25 halftime edge. The Tribe expanded its advantage to 47-31 after three stanzas before the Bulldogs narrowed the final deficit with a 17-14 run in the fourth quarter.
