Obituaries PUBLISHED:
Age 46, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 4, 208 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper in Saginaw. Nancy was born on January 24, 1962 in Saginaw to William and Dorothy (Pease) Debar. She is survived by her daughter and spouse, Rose and Raymond Mitchell; grandson, Raymond Mitchell Debar; three sisters, Linda Debar, Kay Ann and Jim Frasier, Kelly and Jason Swift; two brothers, Charles Debar and David and Marlene Debar; nieces and nephews, Jimmy and Susan McElhaney, Jason and Jackie Frasier, David Debar and Naomi McKillop, Ashley and Bobby Debar, Brandon and Nicole Swift; eight great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Debar, Jr., and a sister, Bonnie Debar. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2008 at Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. Rev. Jeffrey Williams officiated, with burial in Brant Cemetery.
KENNETH MARCUS HENDERSON, JR. of Chesaning Age 72, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Chesaning Nursing Care Center. He was born on September 25, 1935 in Sussex, N.J., was the son of Kenneth M. and Margaret (Kajor) Henderson. He married Joyce Simons on April 16, 1960, and she survives him. Ken had been employed by Georgia Pacific and was also a self-employed landscaper. He had served in the U.S. Marines, and was a Jehovah's Witness and attended the St. Charles Kingdom Hall. He enjoyed skiing, fishing and playing with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Joyce; four children, Peter Kenneth (Kelly) Henderson, of Oakley, Dorothy Martinez Henderson, of Chesaning, Margaret Carol Decker, of Saginaw, and Joseph Michael Henderson, of Chesaning; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Henderson, one brother, Edward Henderson, and one sister, Judy Levesque, all of New Jersey. He was predeceased by his father. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom hall, St. Charles. VINCENT P. WENDLING of New Lothrop Age 53, passed away on Saturday evening, February 9, 2008 at home. He was born on November 5, 1954 in Saginaw, the son of Hubert and Marcella "Sally" (Hebeler) Wendling. He married Marsha Palmer on November 24, 1984, and she survives him. Vince retired from General Motors in 2005 with 32 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He loved being with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Marsha; two children, Eric and Amanda at home; his mother, Marcella "Sally" Wendling; seven brothers, Charles (Diana), Donald (Jean), Maurcie, Ray (Karen), Ken (Vi), Fred (Katie), Walt (Linda), all of Maple Grove Township; two sisters, Mary (Bernard) Bauman, of Maple Grove Township, and Joan (Mike) Skeltis, of Burt; and many nieces, nephews and many special friends. Funeral liturgy was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove. Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly officiated, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery.
