Age 58, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008. He was born on March 1, 1950 in Owosso, the son of William and Lois (Knight) Palaszeski. He resided for most of his life in Flint. Lynn graduated from Chesaning High School with the Class of 1968. He worked on the ore carrier ships that sailed the Great Lakes. Lynn liked raising dogs, especially Saint Bernards. He loved putting on fireworks displays. He was a member of the Henderson United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Palaszeski, of Oakley; his sister, Loretta and Kenn Smith, of Oakley; two nephews, Jaymes Palaszeski, of Adrian, and Nicholas and Bridget Smith, and children, of Morenci; and a niece, Stephanie Smith, of Oakley. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Smith Family Funeral Home, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso. Pastor Herb Wheelock officiated, with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso. Memorials may be made to the Henderson United Methodist Church.
