HORNET MOCK STING

New Lothrop Hornets rocked with a March 28 Mock Rock, stinging the audience with laughter in humorous mock acts as well as live student performances. Student Council sponsored a show for the student body and a show for the community as a Post Prom Prom fundraiser. In the Mock Acts, Robinhood captured first place in the morning show and second in the night show with an arrangement from various movie sound tracks. Ode To Arthur's, a performance to a mix of songs dedicated to the local pizzeria, received first place in the second performance. Revenge of the Nerds received second in the morning show. In the live acts, soloist Melissa Brashaw captured first in the night performance and second in the day performance, singing Dreamer. The McDonald's Rap, with a comic portrayal of a drive thru, received first place in the morning performance. A student band performed A Million Voices for a second place in the second show. Pictured are the performances of A Million Voices, Robinhood, McDonald's Rap, Dreamer, Girl's Just Want to Have Fun and Ode to Arthur's.
