Amanda Wendling was the losing pitcher in Game One, yielding eight hits while striking out a pair of Eagles. Kayla Knieper twirled a one-hitter in the second game, striking out three and walking two. Byron scored the only run of the game in the first inning, capitalizing on a base on balls and the only two Hornet errors of the contest.
