TIMOTHY C. STIVERSON of Montrose



Age 52, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.

Timothy was born May 13, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to the late Howard and Mary (Powell) Stiverson. He had resided in the Montrose area the past 35 years. He was a 1973 graduate of Lake Fenton High School.

Timothy married Mary Pagel on April 3, 1976. He was employed with Metro Sanitation since July 2007. He was a member of the Lamb of God Fellowship Church, the Montrose Eagles and the Optimist Club. He was also a former member of the Montrose Township Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. He was also a volunteer police officer in Montrose. Timothy enjoyed weight lifting and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; children, Tonya Jones, Adam (Melissa) Stiverson and Justin (Natausha) Stiverson all of Montrose; 7 grandchildren, Kayla, Anthony, Isaiah, Kennadee, Adam, Jordan and Alyssa; brothers, William (Kerri) Stiverson and Jimmy (Maria) Stiverson all of Lake Fenton; sister, Lauren (Marc) Carter of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews; many friends.

Timothy was also preceded in death by his brother Robert "Bo" Latting.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Lamb of God Fellowship Church in Montrose, with Pastor Robert Koch officiating. Cremation will follow.
