Dorothy E. Amman was born March 4, 1937 to the late August and Dolores (Tithof) Amman. She was married to George Tkaczyk. He passed away May 18, 1978.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Debra (Doug) Shindorf of Oakley, Steve Tkaczyk of Oakley, Gerald (Brenda) Tkaczyk of Tennessee, Regina Moore of Chesaning, David Tkaczyk of Oakley, Cathy Tkaczyk of Oakley and Joseph (Michele) Tkaczyk of Oakley; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Jerry Joe, Amber, Kristi, April, Sarah, Kyle and Joshua; one great-grandson, Evan; three brothers, James (Doris) Amman of Chesaning, Kenneth (Kay) Lennon of Chesaning, Frederick (Corale) Amman of Lennon; two sisters, Jean (Ray) Schnell of Chesaning and Margaret (Fred) Dery of Owosso; a sister-in-law, Elaine Amman and aunts and uncles William Amman of Chesaning, Irene Nietling of Chesaning, Sally Tithof of Chesaning and Bertha Hart of Oakley. Dorothy was also preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Amman.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2008 at Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning. Diane Hungerford officiated, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Tkaczyk Family. www.WMartinFuneral Home.com
