Six of the seven points against Hemlock came on straight two-set wins as Brooke Jastrzembowski, Alyssa Toma, Erica Toma and Makenzie Smith each won their singles matches. The doubles teams of Megan Buck-Amanda Mort and Kelsey Kunik-Lauren Cianek also won in straight sets while Sara Keys-Aubrey List won in three sets.

The Indians pushed Garber to three sets in four of the eight matches on Thursday, but Garber won three of those four hard-fought contests to eventually pull out the win.

Smith was the only singles winner for the Tribe while Chelsea Kuchar-Kali Gross were doubles winners. Chesaning is now 4-1 in the conference and 5-2 overall.
