After two jamborees, the Chesaning linksters are in fourth lace, while the Bluejays remain comfortably atop the standings. Mike Gute led the Indians on Wednesday with a 39. Travis Maike shot a 44. Brenton Bueche and John Keys each shot a 46. On Friday, April 18, the Tribe took part in the St. Louis Shark Open. They finished 11th out of 19 teams. In the scramble format, Maike and Bueche combined for a 76. Gute and Cameron Desonia tallied a 78. Jason Muirhead and D.J. Brown finished with an 89. Then on Saturday, April 19, Chesaning hit the road again, this time for the Perry Invitational. The Indians finished eighth out of 10 teams in the second division. Gute led the Tribe with an 81, good for ninth place in the field of 120 golfers. Maike carded a 96. |
