Age 84, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Fla. Rose Sabo was born on December 28, 1922 in Saginaw County to the late Damian and Anna (Wetch) Sabo. Rose retired from Peet Packing Company. In her spare time, Rose enjoyed nature, gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved life.

Rose is survived by her five children, Karin and Robert Andrews, of Flushing, Jerry and Joyce Kieffer, of Chesaning, Tom Kieffer, of St. Charles, Randy Kieffer of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Mary and Tom Fry, of Leo, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren with one more on the way in August; and one sister, Emma Muchala, of Lennon. Besides her parents, Rose was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Holmes; and five brothers, Jack, Steve, Tony, Frank and Bill Sabo.

In accordance with Rose's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2007, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Chesaning. Rev. Fr. Richard Bokinskie will officiate, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.
