Devon Burzynski's squad scored four runs in the top of the first and plated five more in the second before coasting to the easy six-inning mercy victory. Amanda Mort led the Tribe attack with four hits, two RBI's and two runs scored. Megan Buck and Chelsea Harris each stroked three hits for the Indians.

Denelle Schian picked up the win on the slab, allowing five hits and three walks while striking out one.

The win improved Chesaning's record to 10-20 overall, and advanced the Indians to a district semi-final match-up with Montrose at noon on Saturday.
