CATHERINE "KAY" "KATE" RICHARDS

Age 78, passed away Monday evening, June 4, 2007, at the Edgewood Assisted Living Center, Saginaw. She was born on December 31, 1928 in Bay City, the daughter of James F. and Grace (Cruise) McGovern. She was a graduate of Central Michigan University. She was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years, many of those years spent at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School, Chesaning. She married Jack Richards in 1965, He passed away in 1974. Those left to mourn her include her son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Maryann Richards, of Grosse Pointe; her brothers and sisters, Mary Margaret "Peg" McGovern, of Saginaw, James F. (Nadine) McGovern, of Saginaw, Michael (Judie) McGovern, of Shelpy, Elizabeth Fitzgerald, of Chelsea, and Thomas (Kathleen) McGovern, of Grosse Pointe; 20 nieces and nephews; and 20 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Our lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Chesaning. Rev. Fr. Richard Bokinskie officiated, with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Saginaw. A wake service was prayed at the Misiuk Funeral Home, Chesaning, at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2007. KATRINA ANN MARIE WARGO
Chapin Township

Age 36, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007. She was born on April 16, 1971 in Owosso, the daughter of Louis Holbrook II and Christine Clark. She married David Wargo on August 19, 1992, and he survives her. Katrina was a homemaker and loved her children and family. Suriving besides her husband, David, are her children, Angelina and Levon; step-children, Kurtis and Stacie; grandchildren, Patrick, Cadence and Reana; her father and step-mother, Louis Holbrook II and Beverly, a sister, Tracy Joan and Dan Campbell, and a brother, Louis Holbrook III, all of Beulah; one niece, Faithann, and one nephew, Jesse; her grandmothers, Margaret Clark, of Chesaning, and Joan Holbrook; and several aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her mother, Christine (Clark) Matrau, her two grandfathers and two uncles. Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, starting at noon and concluding at 7 p.m. with a service at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home in Chesaning.
