Twin Brooks club championships July 28-29

CHESANING -- The Twin Brooks Golf Course club championships will be played on Saturday and Sunday, July 28-29. Championship and first flight will play on Saturday and Sunday. Second, third and senior flights will play on Sunday only.

Tee times or Saturday start at 8 a.m. Play on Sunday will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.

The cost is $15 per player (greens fees not included). There will be a cook-out following the event.

The format will be stroke play. Participants must have a USGA handicap to compete. All league players, except the Wednesday 5:30 league players, have a USGA handicap.

The women's championship will take place on Saturday, Aug. 4. The junior championship will take place on Friday, Aug. 10. The husband and wife championship will take place on Saturday, Aug. 11.
