"Even if people can't make it to play in the scramble, they can show their support through sponsorships or prize donations," said Twin Brooks General Manager Ryan Hoerner. Proceeds will benefit the Our Lady Parish School Scholarship/Grant Fund, which provides financial assistance to families sending children to the tuition-based parochial school. This year the school is celebrating its 100th year of providing a private, Catholic-based education in Chesaning. There is an 8 a.m. player check-in for the four-person scramble event, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The $55 per player or $220 per team entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with an electric cart, a hot dog and hamburger cookout, raffle prizes, team awards and a logo t-shirt and golf balls. Registration forms are available at Twin Brooks, 1005 N. McKeighan Rd., Chesaning. Business and individuals are needed to serve as sponsors for the benefit. Three sponsorship levels are being offered the Pope Package for $225, which includes sponsorship of the golf scramble, parish hall dinner and Knights of Columbus breakfast; the Cardinal Package for $175, which includes sponsorship of the golf scramble and parish hall dinner; and the Bishop Package for $100, which is a sponsorship for the golf scramble. For more information, call Ryan, Steve or Gary at Twin Brooks at (989) 845-6403.
