FELICIA MARIE FOWLER

Age 18, passed away on Sunday evening, September 2, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born on July 8, 1989 in Saginaw, the daughter of Daniel and Deborah (Santino) Fowler. Felicia was a senior at Chesaning Union High School. She had been a member of the COHO swim team and was a former cheerleader and track team member. She was a former Marion Springs Princess and Little Miss Cover Girl. She danced with the Bohaty School of Dance for nine years. Felicia was employed by McDonaldıs in Hemlock, and formerly worked for Kennyıs Pickle Farm. She is survived by her parents, Dan and Deb Fowler, of Brant; grandparents, Russell and Carol Fowler, of Bridgeport; aunts and uncles, Linda Silva, Michele (Steve) Brechtelsbauer, Rejo (Craig) Walter, Nete (Larry) Moll, Kathy Ashbury, Jay Fowler, and Mike (Michelle) Fowler; special friends, Meredith Martin, Britney Majeske, Chelsie Lane, Bridgette Wheelock, Summer Miller, Kenya Harrison and Mama Deb; special teachers, Kent Towns and Jody LeFevre; and many cousins, friends and her godmother, Sheila Davis. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ross and Barbara Santino, and godfather, Ray Fowler. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at St. Johnıs Lutheran Church in Marion Springs. Rev. Joel Hensel officiated, with burial in St. Johnıs Cemetery. ROBERT E. BAKER

Age 56, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2007 at his residence. He was born on February 1, 1951, the son of Ernest and Joan Baker. Bob was an electrician at GM Engine Plant in Flint for 28 and one-half years. He was also a member of the United Auto Workers Union. Bob was the third generation of four Eagle Scouts. He was a member of the Ortonville United Methodist Church and the Indian River United Methodist Church. Bob married Jane M. Kaser on June 18, 1977, and they celebrated their 30th anniversary this spring with a wonderful trip to Mackinaw Island. Jane and Bob have a business, The Depot, in Indian River. Bob is survived by his wife, Jane; father and step-mother, Ernest Baker and Mary Coce, of Lake Orion; daughter, Emily Baker, of Winter Park, Fla.; son, Matthew (Meagan) Baker, of Big Rapids; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Kathy Baker, of Park City, Utah; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John W. and Laura A. Kaser, of Manistee; and nephews, Blane, Brad and Reed. Funeral services were held at noon on Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at the Ortonville United Methodist Church, Ortonville. STEPHANIE J. NOVAK

Age 88, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at her home. Stephanie Josephine Kunik was born on December 15, 1918 in Albee Township, the daughter of the late Mattais and Mary (Rabulasky) Kunik. She married Frank S. Novak in 1940, and he preceded her in death on August 18, 1974. Stephanie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Albee and the Daughters of Isabella. Stephanie is survived by her four children, Frances and James Stanuzsek, of Oscoda, Stephanie Gross, of Flushing, Frank Novak, Jr., of Higgins Lake, and Mary Lou Tithof, of Freeland; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Joe and Barbara Kunik, and Mike Kunik, all of Burt. Besides her husband and parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Frank Kunik, John Kunik, Charles Kunik, Anna Krcmarik and Mary Bradley. Funeral liturgy was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church of Albee Township. Rev. Fr. Todd Arnburg officiated, with burial at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. JENNIFER M. CHAMBERS

Age 22, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident in Shiawassee County. Jennifer was born in Flint on March 30, 1985, the daughter of John H. Chambers, Sr. and Vickie (Smith) Warner. Jennifer had attended New Lothrop Schools, and graduated from Chesaning High School in 2004. She was employed by the Meijer Store in Corunna. She dearly loved her family and friends. Jennifer is survived by her loving daughter, Vickie Marie; her mother, Vickie (Gregg) Warner, of St. Charles; her father, John H. Chambers, Sr., of Hudson, Fla.; three brothers, John H. Chambers, Jr. and Tiffany Cutter, of Flint, Dan Chambers, of Grand Rapids, Jeff Chambers, of Illinois; one nephew, John H. Chambers III; grandmother, Barbara E. (Smith) and Dewitt Chambers, of Athens, Ala.; step-grandparents, Edwin (Clayton) and Donna Warner, of Byron; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jennifer was preceded in death by a grandfather, George Dudley Smith. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2007 at the New Lothrop Nazarene Church. Rev. Paul Brashaw will officiate.
