Bleacher Builder Bash set for Saturday, Oct. 6

SANING -- Mark calendars for Saturday, Oct. 6, when the Bleacher Builder Bash comes to Twin Brooks Golf Course in Chesaning. All proceeds from the bash will go towards building new bleachers at Chesaning Union High School's football stadium. The day kicks off with a four person golf scramble at noon. The golfing will feature various sports-related challenges. The cost is $60 per person, which includes cart, hot dog at the turn, pig roast dinner and free entry to the entertainment tent. Golfing is open to all ages. Call the golf course at (989) 845-6403 to register a four-man team. Then at 6 p.m., the entertainment tent and gaming areas open up. The gaming area will include black jack, Texas hold 'em, three-card poker and money wheel (10 percent rake on each winning pot). Chips are to be purchased in the gaming area. Participants must be age 21 or older to enter. The entertainment tent will have food and beverages available for purchase. Live entertainment featuring The Saucecats will run from 8 p.m. to midnight.
