Obituaries PUBLISHED:
Age 79, passed away suddenly Saturday morning, November 3, 2007 in his home. He was born January 23, 1928 in Chesaning to parents Foster and Agnes (Humpula) Rosencrans. He served in the military in Japan, during the Korean War. Retired from Saginaw Steering Gear, Plant 4, he also belonged to the Chesaning American Legion. He is survived by his wife Betty (Reiss); his children Rosemary Coulture of Bay City, Kathy Wiles of Chesaning, Donna (Dean) Bohn of Chesaning, and Tim (Jill) Rosencrans of Chesaning; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Lillian and Ray Hanchett of Perry; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Carl and Wayne and sister Pearl Bohunsky. Funeral service were held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chesaning. Pastor Joel W. Thomford officiated, with burial at Wildwood Cemetery in Chesaning. Memorials may be made to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chesaning. Arrangements were entrusted to the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.
CYNTHIA E. "CINDY' KEBLER Hoovers Gap, Tenn. formerly of Montrose Age 52, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007. "Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?" Thanks be to God, He gave Cindy the victory through her Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthian 15:55-56. Cindy graduated from Montrose High School in 1972. She was the first Montrose Blueberry Festival Queen in 1972. Cindy was an alumni of Olivet Nazarene College in Kankakee, Ill., and a teacher of high school English in theManatee County School System in Bradenton, Fla. for 28 and one-half years. She was also a woman of great faith and a devoted and loving wife and mother. She leaves on this earth to mourn her natural body and to rejoice at her heavenly home going, her beloved husband, William "Bill" Kebler; her cherished son, William "Lee" Kebler; her loving mother, Mary E. and step-father Lee Harder; her father, Hobert A. Lee; and step-mother, Phyllis, along with other loved extended family members, friends and colleagues. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Hoovers Gap Church. Pastor David Ash officiated, with burial in the Miller Cemetery at Christiana, Tenn. GEORGE D. HUNTOON, SR. Hazelton Township Age 56, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at home. He was born on May 17, 1951 in Owosso, the son of George J. and Irene (Revels) Huntoon. He married Mary Lou Guildes on May 20, 1970, and she survives him. George served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an avid fisherman and gardener, he enjoyed the out-of-doors. He was employed by Republic Waste of Montrose. Surviving besides his wife, Mary, are two children, Melissa Irene Huntoon, of Owosso, and George Huntoon, Jr., of Owosso; five beautiful grandchildren and his mother, Irene Huntoon, of Owosso; his brothers and sisters, Harry (Jill) Huntoon, of Elsie, Henry Huntoon, of Chesaning, Linda (Robert) Skaryd, of Elsie, and Marsha Baker, of Durand; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George J. Huntoon. In following George's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to the Walker-Martin Funeral Home in Chesaning.
